shopping in waikiki
December 23rd, 2007One of the places to shop when you are in Waikiki is the DFS store. However, you can only allowed to buy duty free goods if you are traveling out of US and this only applies to non-American products.
I just realized that it’s cheaper to shop in Hawaii than Los Angeles since the tax here is lower. This means, I should be doing all my shopping here as much as I can - lol! I do noticed that the Japanese tourists are into buying Maui Divers gold chain and Tahitian black pearls. They are truly beautiful but do come with a price. Besides, I’m not so much a pearl person. I may stock up a few La Mer items since I am contemplating on the whitening mask… so much for shopping indulgence!
