I am a fan of Christmas decorations. I love the blinking lights and the beauty of glittering ornaments mixed with bright shades of red and gold. Just imagine this, every household can be given the same ornaments, yet, it is unlikely that any two will look the same. I love the fact that for one month out of the year children are looking out their windows in awe at the bright lights and the cheery characters that light up the cold wintry rooftops all around. And to add to this fun, I’ve celebrating mine in LA this year! Yay!

Getting a manicure these days seems to be common practice for a lot of people.  Some men do receive regular manicures; however, it seems that is type of pampering is usually dominated by women.  I went to the nail salon two weeks ago and was amazed at how many women were there.  There were mother daughter duos in the nail salon.  There were people like myself that were at the salon because of being in a wedding party.  There were also women that were just there for a little much needed pampering.

Kate Moss celebrated Christmas a few weeks’ early at Annabel’s in London last night, and she has every reason to celebrate.

She is looking great. She has a new haircut (fringe + choppy, shoulder length bob) and a new boyfriend, Jamie Hince, guitarist with The Kills. And she has just presided over her third and best-yet collection for Topshop.

She marked the occasion with a glamorous dinner and fashion show at the legendary nightclub in Berkeley Square, which she co-hosted with Topshop/Arcadia supremo, Sir Philip Green.

This time, it’s the turn of Victoria Beckham, who is reportedly furious at Geri Halliwell’s plans to sing a medley of her own solo hits, which would - admittedly - be around 40 seconds of torture.Victoria feels it is best for the girls to stick to the group stuff, and with her solo back catalogue you can hardly blame her - unless she’s planning on wheeling out Dane Bowers and a vocoder mid-set. The girls have taken sides, and can you guess which way?

Macbeth has built their footwear brand on the artistry and diversity of music.

Jon Humphrey, a concert promoter and vice president of Adio together with Tom Delonge, formerly of the band Blink-182 created the brand in San Diego.

Following the lead of other vegan friendly brands Macbeth has expended its collection to include designs which use 100% vegan materials to promote the use of non animal products.

What are we supposed to do about the year-round mono-climate we’ve managed to create? Environmental doom apart, I’m very cross about it on a personal level: it’s wreaked havoc with my wardrobe.

This is how the season has shaped up for me so far. In anticipation of a tour of duty in the fashion trenches of Milan and Paris, I lost my head and invested in an autumn/winter uniform. What an idiot. After I had hauled a hundredweight of purchases several thousand miles, the whole lot turned out to be redundant.
