Girls can get fussy when it comes to storing her beauty toiletries and makeup. We prefer to store these personal stuff in a nice toiletries pouch and not just any ordinary bag. Even so, we would also find a nice pouch or case to keep our digital wires and cables, not just any black padded ones you see in computer shops.

When I first saw this hand sewn giraffe pouch, I can tell it has an oriental influence. The form and design of the pouch is simple yet very girly and feminine. Made by a’sewing-holic girl’ who live in countryside of northern Japan, she and mother spend most of their time sewing at home. All her products at dawanda.com are carefully cut and structured one by one by herself. Won’t it be nice to use the pouch to store those wires, CAT6 cables and anything small? Other fabric designs available. Get them at dawanda.com at 12 EUR each. Those kimono print ones are simply gorgeous!

Some people are very tech savvy. I mean, they can dismantle a PC and assemble it back within hours but for me, I’m one of those who may need to get a ‘Dummies’ book when it comes to technical stuff. The only DIY areas I may be capable of are beauty kits or simple crafts which usually come with a detailed instruction sheet with the kits.
While buying a PC may not be as costly as before, some PC owners enjoy the thrill of assembling their own computers. Apparently, there are many easy DIY PC kits that allow you to Build a Computer within hours, saving you more a $1000 compared to PCs in computer shops. In fact, there are different types of PC kits to suit your needs - gaming PC kits, business PC kits or basic DIY PC kits with prices that start from $499 and up. Though I’m not ambitious with assembling my own PC, the description on Easy As My PC sounds so simple. To be on the safe side, I may prefer to have a tech savvy person next to me should I purchase any of these DIY PC kits. For more details and specs on every kit, click on the above link and check it for yourself.

So it’s the month to celebrate Earth Day - are you doing anything to promote a green lifestyle? To all of us ladies who used to collect paper bags and plastic bags, it’s about that that we learn to shop with a carry-all tote or bag during our shopping spree. I know it takes a while to get used to this but I’ve been through it. We still like the idea of carrying a shopping bag and keeping our new designer top and dress in its neat wrapping. But if you care about that for the least, maybe you should consider one of these carry all handbags. Designed for the discerning female, the Stockholm is constructed from varying sized bands of our signature felt sewn together to create a bag that maintains its unique shape and expands to hold whatever you need for your day.

As an attention-getting accessory or fashion statement, designer or custom sunglasses are nothing new. Trendsetters like Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, and Elton John sported designer and custom sunglasses as part of their “look” or star status. Some have worn sunglasses to hide behind, cover their drug-affected eyes, or make a statement. I read that Elvis Presley had sunglasses custom-made for him with his initials or the letters TCB (Taking Care of Business) built right into the nose bridge. Interesting!
Stars like Sophia Loren, Donald Trump, and Britney Spears have their own name brand sunglasses on the market while others may be wearing Marc Jacobs or Armani sunglasses for a classy look or Baby Phat for punk style. The mood for the day might be for the blast-to-the-past 1950’s look of Fossil sunglasses. Whatever style you like, you can find any kind of sunglasses in the marketplace and infact, many people are capitalizing on Wholesale Discount Sunglasses as a business. These Wholesale Replica Sunglasses are available at low prices when purchases in bulk and apparently, they can fetch good prices when sold in retail stores or kiosks.

Eversince I became a mom, I get particularly uncomfortable when someone puffs a cigarette near or in front of my young child. Though I don’t ostracize smokers but I do think that they should not smoke if there is any child around. According to Wikipedia, exposure to secondhand tobacco smoke causes death, disease and disability. The risks associated with passive smoking are one of the main reasons for smoking bans in workplaces and indoor public places, including restaurants, bars and night clubs.

Anyone who craves for niche, limited edition items should not give bouf.com a miss. You can find interesting products related to fashion, furniture, lifestyle, toys, technology and so on. Many of the items are so cool and carry an eclectic and modern approach, just like this fridge magnet bottle opener.
This is one cool item I would like to get for my bachelor brother in law This very sleek bottle opener comes in polished stainless steel, with super-strong rubber magnetic backing. It magnetically sticks to the front of your fridge and opens your bottle with ease. What a great gift for a bachelor’s pad!

This piece of exquisite handmade Neptune Necklace has to be a wonderful find this morning. I had seen a sea urchin but didn’t know the shell could be out into such creative use. Jewelry designer Amanda Jo from North Shore, Sydney has so wonderfully crafted it into sterling silver. The lovely treasure of the ocean sits with a beautiful piece of paua shell and a sterling silver starfish pendant. You can see that the sea urchin has had minimal polishing to retain a natural look. I always like paua shell - the colours, tones and natural finish reflect so truly of the beauty of marine life. You can find more of Amanda’s collection at her website at http://www.artsconnect.com.au. I really like her ocean collection - the marine charm is just indescribable

While the famous saying goes “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend”, this should be taken in jest than the literal sense otherwise you may be accused of being ‘too shallow’ or materialistic. But what’s wrong with a little indulgence every now and then? After all, it is a good practice to reward yourself for the achievement you have worked hard to attain, whether in your personal or work life. By saying this, I’m not encouraging you to shop crazy when you are full of debts and making ends meet so always be wise at all times.
