On my last trip to Singapore, I bought my first silk finishing powder from Jurlique. My first experience with Jurlique was dated 2000 when I bought the lavender hydrating mist. I love the cooling and calming sensation of the lavender hydrating mist on a hot day, especially in our tropical climates. I had stopped using if for years due to the heavy bottle packaging which makes it heavy on my luggage when I travel.

During my stop at the Jurlique counter in Tangs Store in Singapore, I was delighted that Jurlique had changed the branding and packaging of all their products. Since I haven’t been a Jurlique user for a while, it was a refreshing sight for me. I couldn’t stopped myself from checking out the simple and pleasant bottles of skincare, hair care and body care products on the shelves.

I am not sure what Justin Timberlake is trying to pull here. I am used to people who kiss ass but I guess kissing people’s shoes or foot for that matter is an entirely different breed altogether. This is an alarming cause for concern!

Timberlake was the host at the American ESPY sports’ awards ceremony. Sitting in the front row was David Beckham and wife Victoria. “Justin joked that he wanted to find out what $250m worth of foot tasted like. He jumped off stage and proceeded to kiss David’s shoes. $250m is how much was paid to David for his transfer to LA Galaxy. Well, for publicity people are willing to do anything including a lesbian kiss on stage. How far would you go? David’s wife Victoria cringed at the scene before bursting out laughing. ESPY 2008 is an event to award sportsmen and women for their contribution in sports.

I had just returned from a short trip to Singapore. It wasn’t a shopping trip this time though it was hard not to enjoy a bit of retail therapy. Once again, I was overwhelmed by the many clothing boutiques in and out of Orchard road. Somehow, I wasn’t impressed by a lot of those China imported or Korean imported clothing. Perhaps it’s because I’ve passed that age. Over the years, I had made many wrong decisions in buying clothes I don’t need and splurged unnecessarily on clothing that were worn only once. Having said that, I like this local clothing store GG5. They stock a nice collection of ready to wear casual and working clothing that are stylish, modern, fairly affordable and fashionable. Their simple coordinates such as the casual jackets, tops, skirts and pants are the favourites among working executives and modern women.

I am unable to confirm the accuracy of these pictures. Some claim the girl in the picture is none other than PUTERI SARAH LIYANA, the rising actress who was picked by M Nasir to star in the work-in-progress movie, ADUHAI SALEHA. I just hope that this is not her. She’s grown up enough to do such things. Let’s give her some credit people. PUTERI SARAH LIYANA is one of my favourite actresses whom I hope could succeed FAZURA or FASHA SANDHA one day.

Recently at the French Open, Maria Sharapova wore a custom-designed dress by Nike. This has been the case at other Opens such as the Australian Open and Wimbledon Tournament. The dress has been inspired by the 1920s. Maria who is also known as Masha amongst her fans, also seen wearing a pair of Tiffany’s & Co earrings to the court. How nice being a tennis star and have a pretty face to boot. She has the most-wanted tight body and can easily wear body-fit bikini during the summer. She’s really the envy of many women!

All this while, it has been pure hearsay. The friendship between Malaysia’s beautiful actress FASHA SANDHA and Johor’s royalty, DYAM Tunku Ismail Ibrahim has recently been validated by Fasha’s own mum and by someone who claims he is a friend of DYAM Tunku Ismail, well at least that was what was mentioned in a tabloid that was just out. (please read our disclaimer). As for us, as a mark of respect to JOHOR ROYAL FAMILY, we have taken a stand not to believe this rumour until confirmed by the people involved themselves.
