We still have some hotblooded females who know how to entertain with spicy humour and sweet sense of a woman. How I rank this may be subject to questions. There’s a new show in town and although it may not sound MALAYSIAN, it certainly attracts a lot of attention from the college-going population in MALAYSIA. It’s american glamour brought to MALAYSIAN shores by 8TV. It’s a show sponsored by NIVEA with Fly FM as the Official Radio. People at 8TV had made many rounds at several colleges in MALAYSIA and finally they have ended up with 10 final contestants as below. Although the focus of the competition is more on style and personal grooming, I do hope when they open their mouth, what they say do make sense and respectable not just some utter rubbish such as “this and stuff”, “hey it’s cool man, check this out!” Reagan was on 8TV quickie tonight and his words just went off tangent. Hope they will not be just like Miss South Carolina of Teen USA Pageant, who did a big blunder in response to a question from a judge.

ISLAMIC FASHION SHOW 2007 took place last weekend at KLCC Convention Centre in conjuction with MALAYSIAN INTERNATIONAL FASHION WEEK. More than 35 designers from inside and outside Malaysia took part in this event including names such as CALVIN THOO. One of the models parading the ISLAMIC dress was JAZZ SINGER, NORYN AZIZ.

Congrats to Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar..Akhirnya berjaya menjadi ANGKASAWAN MALAYSIA yang pertama apabila terpilih menjadi satu dari krew pertama Soyuz15S. Misi Soyuz 15S terdiri daripada Yuri Malechenko dari Russia dan Peggy Whitson dari Amerika Syarikat,who is the first female to lead a long-duration spaceflight according to NASA. Walaupun begitu Kapten Dr. Faiz masih lagi berpeluang! Setelah sekian lama bertungkus lumus di STARCITY. DATUK SHEIKH MUSZAPHAR akan bertolak dari kapal angkasa Soyuz di Baikonur Cosmodrome di Kazakhstan pada pukul 9.21 malam (waktu Malaysia), 10 Okt.

Sejenak saya tersenyum bila seorang rakan mengirimkan gambar angkasawan malaysia dengan teman wanitanya..ia ke atau saja peminat tangkap gambar dengannya..amboi-amboi budak2 sekarang nie..walau bagaimanapun macam manalah tak ramai peminat muka pun hensem..tapi saya tak relaa..owh pullez hehe.. kalau macam nie bulan2 kat angkasa nanti pun boleh jatuh hati..haha…Tapi gambar ini dapat memberikan harapan kepada gadis-gadis di Malaysia bahawa Dr. SHEIKH MUSZAPHAR bukanlah seorang gay!

HyppTV is a trendy new offering by TM Net. In an attempt to capture the highly lucrative internet multimedia market, HyppTV has positioned itself to bring fresh, current, local videos - of people’s life, the events around them and what makes Malaysia pulse. In fact it’s the first INTERNET TV in Malaysia. Right on their heels is MEDIA PRIMA‘S next best thing ONLINE campaign at all 3 of the media’s television channels websites plus the recently launched gua.com.my. I was privy to the mechanics and ideas behind MEDIA PRIMA’s online strategies as was involved in the early part of its design. What I can say is that HyppTV has more potential and and can break even much faster in terms of operating costs. Reason one being HyppTV being owned and operated by TMNet, as such there’s little bandwidth and connection issues as TM Net is only using its unutilised huge bandwidth. The second being that people at HyppTV is more technically savvy in the sense that they understand connectivity problems in Malaysia really well and as such as acted accordingly by keeping the size of its viewing screen of streaming video clips to an optimum unlike MEDIA PRIMA’s portals which has received significant complaints on its slow downloads and stuttering flow of media streaming. This is a big turnoff to people. Starting on a small scale basis, HyppTV has a lot of potential to be expanded to make it a real community-based media portal.
