peaches n cream from Mineralogie

peaches n cream from Mineralogie

Well, this was meant to be an eye shadow colour from the label of the packaging but since mineral makeup is versatile, I thought it would be a nice shade of a glow on my cheeks and it really did!

peaches n cream from Mineralogie

This Peaches n Cream eye colour from Mineralogie is a lovely light coral shade that has a beautiful light shimmer when applied on the eye lids or the face. I got adventurous and use my flawless face brush from Erth Minerals to dust some on my cheeks as a highlight and the natural healthy glow was perfect me. Katie sent me 2 other shades - Sunkissed and Mink which I believe will blend well with Peaches n Cream. From the information on the website, the “Ultra-fine Mineral Eye Shadow glides on effortlessly and feels as good as it looks. Rich, radiant color stays where you put it until you take it off. As versatile as they are long lasting, Mineral Eye Shadow comes in a variety of matte colors derived from the earth.”

natural beauty with elemental beauty mineral makeup

natural beauty with elemental beauty mineral makeup

I was captured by the touch of femininity of the rose icon on Elemental Beauty mineral makeup packaging when I first saw the website. Unlike most of the mineral makeup which usually comes in plastic sifter jars, Elemental Beauty uses glass jars for its range of mineral makeup.

For the last three weeks, I have been trying out Elemental Beauty’s soft focus mineral foundation. Nicola was gracious to send me two shades which she thought were best for my skin tone. I must commend her for the wise selection as I could mix both to get the right shade for my slightly tanned skin. Cinnamon is a lovely warm toned foundation which works perfectly well for me. In fact, it evens out my skin tone and gives my face a natural tan! Surprisingly, Sunshine, a warm, neutral/yellow tone which brightens up my skin even though it is meant for fair skin. I did a little experimentation and mixed both together and ended up with the PERFECT shade for my face - now I know why Nicola sent me two shades!

review on Monave versatile mineral powders

When it comes to beauty, I must confess that I’m that sort who choose short-cuts and quick solutions to looking good. This explains why I’ve never been a liquid foundation user and my regular make up regime is always a quick dust of loose powder, bronzer, defining my eye brows (a must-must-must) and a shimmer on my lips. I don’t like to spend more than fifteen minutes in front of the mirror, inclusive toning and moisturizing my face. So when I first tried mineral makeup, I knew it was made for me.

my review on Lumiere mineral makeup

September 13th, 2007

My Lumiere mineral make up arrived last weekend. You should witness the gleam in my eyes… I was so eager to try them on! While I was still a newbie in mineral make up, I was careful to follow the Swirl, Tap, Buff rules. What I got in my surprise package were samples of a light warm Luminesse, a medium beige flawless foundation, a light med warm Veena Velvet, a flushed mineral blush, a hypnotic glitz and a spice rum Lumi lips.
