the spring/summer collection from tous

May 26th, 2008

Yesterday, I walked past the Tous counter in a nearby mall and took a sneak peek of the new collection. When I got home that night, I went to the official website of Tous to check out the new Spring-Summer collection.

the spring/summer collection from tous

This Spanish label has always been my favourite. To be honest, I’m never that sort of gal who grew up with teddy bears but Tous is really cool. The bearish logo reminds us of the little girl in me and I must give credit to the creative designs of the bags that never seem to fail every season. What I love is add to my accessory treasures would be a Tous murano glass pendant when I find one that I truly like. This new 18kt yellow gold with pave diamonds called Flora is a lovely one that is new to the collection this season. As for the handbags, this range of Crochet collection has appealed to me. With three different sizes and styles available, each of them looks like a chic handbag to carry around for any casual or non-formal occasion. Find them in your nearest Tous store.

camper spring/summer is in!

March 6th, 2008

camper spring/summer is in!

Finally, the spring/summer collection at Camper is in! For those who missed the sale that lasted for a couple of months, you would have to wait for another one - which I’m not sure when. But if you like to check out the latest collection at Camper, now is the time. New designs and styles are added and I can only tell you that they are getting cooler, prettier, trendier, more unique in the various collections. You can guess that my favourite collection has to be the TWINS - “Not identical but complimentary.” But I won’t be splurging for another in the next few months - a promise I made to my other half and myself. But I didn’t say I would stop admiring!

Dior Moves Into Spring Prudently

October 11th, 2007

Dior Moves Into Spring Prudently

John Galliano’s pinstripe pantsuits and 1930s film-star dresses for Dior on Monday looked almost prudent, a case of battening down the hatches if more bad economic news leads to a slowing of consumer spending.

That’s one way to look at Mr. Galliano’s workmanlike performance as the French spring collections began and crowds of editors and onlookers amassed in the sticky autumn air to see the latest clothes. There is usually more hullabaloo for the Paris shows than those in Milan or New York, as well as a time-tested belief that whatever fashion looked right in Milan will be validated by Paris or it will not.

What’s the inspiration for your Spring ‘08 collection?
This season, we were inspired by the complexity and individuality of the sparkling icicles in the final scene of the film “The Ice Storm.” Just as the destruction of the ice storm in the film incited positive transformations, the thaw of the winter chill revealed a vibrant spring for Custo.
