Just when you don’t think anyone is going to peep into your socks underneath your shoes, think again! I’m one fussy gal when it comes to socks. They can’t be too thick or too thin. I prefer nice prints or a nice material for my socks. Comfort is the name above style and usually, I’ll stick to those regular few that make my feet feel so comfy and nice. My hubby finds me strange when I shop for socks during our holiday trips. Unlike him who will pick up any kind of crew socks in a sale, I take a long time to find and shop for socks that feel nice and look good. What about you? Do you care for these accessories that go on your feet?

The short excerpt of ‘New Year, New Face’ got me curious. “Korean women are celebrating the Lunar New Year with cosmetic surgery?” Are they serious or what, I thought to myself.
I have heard much about the huge Cosmetic Surgery industry in Korea but this piece of news still surprises me. Perhaps it’s because I’m not one of those who is willing to time off to do a nose job or facelift surgery so it amazes me to hear that people are taking the long holiday break to enhance their looks or appearances. I suppose it’s a good time for those who have been thinking about getting a cosmetic surgery done since the nine days break would mean a time of recovery without incurring any medical leave for the working women. According to the director of BK DongYang Plastic Surgery Clinic, it was reported that 90 per cent of the firm’s beds were reserved in advance by those who have planned to undergo cosmetic surgeries or treatments.

Nevada is considered to be the marriage capital of the world, and this is not just for no reason. An estimated 100,000 marriages are performed every year and there are actually more reasons than just a hasty preparations. The city is popular because of it ideal weather conditions with an average of 320 days of fun in the sun. This also considered a honeymoon hotspot so if you want to renew your marriage vows for your 25th anniversary, why not consider a Las Vegas wedding?
However, the main draw of why people fly all the way to Vegas for a wedding is mainly because it doesn’t require any tests and waiting period, which means its pretty easy and hassle-free. Another important thing to consider is the fact that you can actually obtain a marriage license for only $ 55, of course you need to be of legal age. A Las Vegas wedding will normally vary with your own style and budget. If you prefer the black tie affair and a lavish reception, you can do so without by simply employing the professional services of Las Vegas wedding planners. And perhaps host in at the Wynn Las Vegas! While a traditional wedding would normally take months to a year of preparation, your Vegas wedding can be easily organized with minimum fuss – that would be equal to a few phone calls and some quick online research.

Since this is the first time we are taking a freestyle cruise, I have been reading cruise reviews contributed by real travelers. According to some of the reviews by cruisers on the Pride of America, they suggest to begin the trip in Kailua-Kona on the western side of the island during the Big Island port of call. Kona itself is a quaint little village in which you can enjoy a luau, fine dining, a picnic on the grass by the ocean and many small shops located along Alli Drive in downtown Kona. We are planning to rent a car and explore the island in a free and easy style since we are traveling with an unpredictable toddler.

Sometimes we are too overwhelmed by trends and styles and new things that we can forget the gorgeous clothing, accessories, bags and shoes we had in our cabinets or wardrobe. Being someone who is sentimental, I’m still keeping clothes that I had 15 years ago and more. They are either bought overseas or special pieces I used to like alot. Honestly, I forgot about them until I was in my mom’s house. She pulled out a few of my winter vests and my, I didn’t know I had these great looking vests that are currently in fashion!
So before you add a new item in your wardrobe this weekend, dig out all your old clothing and see if you have forgotten any of lovely ones. The cool thing is you probably won’t spot someone wearing that same piece, since it was so long ago…
