This piece of exquisite handmade Neptune Necklace has to be a wonderful find this morning. I had seen a sea urchin but didn’t know the shell could be out into such creative use. Jewelry designer Amanda Jo from North Shore, Sydney has so wonderfully crafted it into sterling silver. The lovely treasure of the ocean sits with a beautiful piece of paua shell and a sterling silver starfish pendant. You can see that the sea urchin has had minimal polishing to retain a natural look. I always like paua shell - the colours, tones and natural finish reflect so truly of the beauty of marine life.
