If colour is your name and you love the vibrant hues that reflect your mood and style, then you gotta check out the gorgeous fused glass jewelry at Amy Burhoe. This is the brainchild of a husband and wife team who handcraft each piece of colourful jewelry in their home studio in Rhode Island.
But first, let’s understand what fused glass really is. From the website of Amy Burhoe, I gather that it is actually layers of glass melted together using a kiln which is a specialized type of oven. Many techniques can be used to alter the glass and the process can last anywhere from 6 to 24 hours! At the peak temperature (usually around 1475 degrees!) the glass is molten red. All I can say is I am totally melted away by some of the awesome colour combinations - they are just so pretty!

ParisBeaverbanks has tagged me on shopping tips and tricks. I believe this will be an interesting list for all fashionistas and shopping enthusiasts.
~ Start copy ~
It’s very simple. When you receive this tag, copy the whole list and add your own shopping tip to the bottom and pass it on.
1. Wear comfy clothing when you’re shopping. You don’t wanna fuss with too many laces and buttons when you’re trying clothes on. http://rinnah-marketplace.blogspot.com
2. When buying pants or jeans, try to try them on with a pair of heels so you know its the right length. If you don’t and wear it with heels later, you might find that it hangs at an awkward length. http://www.all-aboutshopping.com
