There is a new growing trend among the new age executives and yuppies in the fashion world. Body accessorizing is becoming popular with more fashion conscious individuals making a statement with a nose ring, a belly ring and even cartilage ear piercing!

For me, body piercing or body jewelry is common since I used to teach in a design school with the most funky and fashionable teens. When done tastefully, a belly button ring or a nose ring can be an identity enhancement but when it’s gone overboard, it can turn people off. Just like our fashion tastes, everyone is entitled to be who you want to be as long as you are comfortable about it.

I stumbled upon Alex Woo’s jewelry by chance. As always, I will visit the website to learn more about the designer and to find out what she’s known for. I must admit that I’m enthralled by Alex’s simplicity and contemporary line of jewelry that can be worn just about any occasion - everyday use or a special occasion. Alex’s dad plays a big part in her artistic flair as a designer and jeweler. Her style is modern, elegant, clean and simple. Yet, the way a heart is crafted is unique by itself in her range of pendants, earrings, bracelets, necklaces and rings.
