shopping in singapore

July 22nd, 2008

I had just returned from a short trip to Singapore. It wasn’t a shopping trip this time though it was hard not to enjoy a bit of retail therapy. Once again, I was overwhelmed by the many clothing boutiques in and out of Orchard road. Somehow, I wasn’t impressed by a lot of those China imported or Korean imported clothing. exquisite designs by brenda cheah, singapore

October 2nd, 2007

I stumbled upon Brenda Cheah jewelry designs when I was window shopping in Takashimaya Singapore. My, her creations were lovely! Her use of gemstones and semi-precious stones are mixed with the highest level of creativity and style. The colours and gemstones combination are truly exquisite and after spending more than half hour at the counter, I was almost handing out my credit card to the experienced sales lady. She was so knowledgeable of the products. But I decided to take a walk before making a decision. It wasn’t cheap for costume jewelry and I just splurged on an Agnes B bag. For S$850, I should think with a cool mind…. and yes, I didn’t buy it at the end. But if I have a little extra money next month, I will consider her lovely designs for my birthday wishlist. I’ll try to search for some photos to be posted.
