Fashion and style can be quite a personal thing. Ever tried shopping with a friend to realize that your taste and opinions don’t match? In other words, not every good friend is a good shopping companion cos tastes differ!

I tend to shop alone except on certain occasions. Getting the opinion of a friend is helpful at times but sometimes, I much prefer to make my own decisions and take my time to do my shopping picks. Jewelry, shoes or bags, I like a unique touch to the designs and sometimes my friends can find my taste a little too artistic and liberated. These days, medical id tags have been worn as jewelry so it will be interesting if jewelry designers can catch on the trend and apply their creativity onto the design of these medical tags. This layered look among urban young girls and teenagers is catching up in cities like Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea and probably Malaysia. Remember how the Mitsubishi Storm hit the auto marketplace few years ago with its vibrant yellow and fiery red hues? I was one of them who was attracted by the hype and rugged look of the Storm… it was cool.
